My Bio
I started drawing back in 2008. I had this idea for a series in my head and couldn't rely on anyone to show it the way I wanted it to, so began the start of my FEAR mini series :).
I started drawing by hand, scanning and coloring in Illustrator. Since my goal was to animate the characters I eventually switched to drawing in Flash with the hopes of animating them after they were drawn. After about a year of drawing in flash I was getting more and more interested in making the comic series better so I got myself a tablet and started drawing/coloring/shading in photoshop.
It's been 2 years since I walked away from my project and now I'm jumping back into it with a whole bunch of new skills I learned on the way. My plan is to focus on and complete one full comic book issue. The new FEAR comic will draw inspiration from the old series I drew but will mainly be a fresh start. I'm really excited to get back into this and can't wait to see how it pans out! :D

Something rumbles in the deep

It's been so long since I've updated my site with something meaningful. Something in me has resparked lately and I'm working on something big to help with a revival. I may be getting ahead of myself with reviving something that isn't quite ready to be revived...but I guess that's my way of doing things. Act first, figure out the rest as I go :P
I hope I'll achieve what I'm seeking out to do in a reasonable time frame. And all this without a certain artist's inspiring work to inspire me ;) hehe

On the path to..greatness?

This summer it will be my 4th year since I picked up a pencil to begin my great drawing adventure. I hit quite a bump in life last year which brought my productivity to an all time low since I started. However lately things have seemed to be looking up, I have a new outlook on life. I've been refining and seeking out more teachers to hone my skills and my confidence grows with every drawing :). I just completed my first drawing course at the college yesterday. For my next semester I have a course in illustrator and photography lined up all while attending some drawing workshops at the nearby comic book store.

Hey Jay, you need to put your strips into some comic groups. I bet you could build some popularity on them.
Maybe once I release my new series. My existing strips were more like my trial period.
